    Yes, geese can eat lettuce, and it can be a refreshing, low-calorie treat for them.

    Lettuce is mostly water, which makes it hydrating, but it doesn’t offer much in terms of nutrition compared to other greens. Romaine lettuce is a better option because it contains more vitamins like vitamin A and vitamin K compared to iceberg lettuce, which has very little nutritional value.

    When feeding lettuce to geese, be sure to chop it into manageable pieces, and avoid overfeeding it, as too much can cause diarrhea due to its high water content. Including a variety of leafy greens like kale or spinach along with lettuce helps ensure a more balanced diet for geese.
